I suspect its time for a nine inch with billets? I hear the other side cannot be taken out for inspection, its twisted itself in there.

Nah you'll get it out, you just need a big f**k off slide hammer :) When i smashed my XE years ago i bent the diff like a banana but still managed to get the axles out and then get the lsd centre out.

Ill get some pice up of it soon, its full home made and cost almost nothing.

It wont help get the broken piece out but if you can get the other side out then you may be able to feed a small piece of solid bar through and knock it out.

ya get that hahaha, mine broke off exactaly were urs did. I managed to get the rest of the axel out of the spool, but it ruined the splines. Was urs the passanger side axel that broke?
