After deciding that no one wants to buy this sub, Im going to use it again. After this was decided, the motion was made that I am going to build a custom box for it. Great, motivation there.
I bought this sub from Jaycar in Parramatta a while ago. It was their last one, its a 15" Precision Response Double Magnet blah blah blah sub.
I also bought a box that "it comes with". Later to find the sub didn't fit in at all, the box is TINY for a sub this size, and ported boxes are no longer my preferrences. (Me and mitch "made" it fit)
I rang jaycar in head office, tech store, parrammatta store, searched google.....nothing. They said there's no such thing. I said its in my garage lol. Anyways, its identical to the CS-2228 which is a 12", but respectively 15". Its part number is CS-2350.

So if anyone has "connections" or may know something about these subs, please let me know!!

Cheers!

Well i know they DO exist so it may well be the genuine article but they were very limited in number...

I will try and find some specs for it or box style to suit.

Do you have access to a multi-meter. Imay be able to talk you through taking some measurements to get the info needed to calculate box size...

Bump. I dug up the same sub in my garage today (been sitting there since 2006 and I forgot all about it). Can anyone share the enclosure specs publicly or am I better off just buying a generic 15" sealed enclosure as I don't want to lose my boot. Boot space takes precedence over sound quality for me.

Woah.. great mining skillz haha.

Um. I just ran with the box that came with it. At the end of the day, if boot space plays a greater role than getting the most out of this sub, then it's not worth the effort of designing and building a box.

I don't have the specs lying around anymore unfortunately. But just get a sealed box, that sacrfices as much boot space as your willing to give up.

Good luck!

Can't believe how long ago that was...

Mine of the century haha. My brother and I swapped a pair of MTX 2038 12" subs (one of them had a fried voice coil) for this baby but never got around to fitting it. I found it around 2 hours ago and had a real "ka ching" moment.

Looks like a generic sealed box it is then. Or unless......

Pyroay if you're still around can you post up a tutorial of speaker measurements using a multimeter as briefly mentioned in this thread?
