I'm a little confused by this post are you asking a question, or just making a random statement for the hell of it.

What he said^^^

Most people on ebay are selling them for ridiculous prices. But if asizzy can get them for you for a good price get them.

Got mine for about $40 for all four as the surrounds were all cracked. The chrome handle itself can be seperated so its algood if you find them with the cracked surrounds, just fit the chrome part to your surrounds (hope that makes sense

Just keep an eye out out at the wreckers and the for sale section and you could get lucky, they seem to pop up frm time to time

I wish I could locate just one door handle. I've only got three. Drivers side anyone?

^^^ what he said, you can fit the chrome to your existing surrounds. I got some cappa and chrome handles cheap as, fitted the chrome to my grey surrounds and sold the cappa bits! :D everyone is a winner!

2 mins tops of interchanging the chrome handle from a cracked housing... i found welding rods a good makeshift toll to push the pin out with.. as well as multi grips... pretty common on ebay.. but a wreckers might be your cheapest bet...

Its the heavier and tougher chrome handles that do the damage. Try and be gentle with them, and don't reef the handles, and they'll last much longer.

My Ghia came with all the cups cracked from use, but I got cappa replacements from someone who bought the chrome handles, and swapped them to a grey interior :-) Go recycling!

It's pretty easy to remove.
There are two things that has to be removed.
1. There is a metal rod thing that can be seen from both sides just push that through. This is the hard part as some can be removed easily and some a real pain. a small flat screw driver is what a use to push them through.
2. There is a white plastic thing that gets hooked into the "door lever" itself that metal bit that's on the door itself. Just take that out and your all done.

Hope that helped.

Yeah, its only a pin holding the chrome handle in really. Just hit the pin through and remove the white plastic part which the metal rod which opens the door connects to and your done. Should come right out. Then line it up with your good handle surrounds push the pin in and refit the plastic pat which the rod connects to.

Hope that makes sense, i think ive had a few to many tonight

Just a suggestion on another place you could try and source the handle's.

You could try Ferntree Gully Auto Salvage? don't know if they have heaps or none at all, but I'm just putting them out there. Also suggesting them because they are a forum sponsor.
