How do I change FALCON AU ignition leads.I cant see how to get my hands on the coil packs.I cant even see the coil packs.

just take out the airbox and you can get access under the manifold better

Yeah! take out the top and bottom parts of the air box and that makes it easier for u!

Thanks for the replies.I will take out the air box and see if I can get to them.I was thinking maybe the pros lift the car on a hoist and get to the leads from under the car.If anyone has an 6 cylinder Falcon AU and has changed their leads by themselves please let me know the easiest way to do it.

Easiest way I've found is to take the airbox, and sort of twist your arm under there. Then you feed the leads through 1 by 1 with your other arm from the top.

yea take airbox out and yoyu can fit you arm up underneath

I have done them on an EF before, coil pack in same place as AU. Drove the car up on some ramps, removed airbox and intake piping(5mins). Then just do one at at time, takes about 15-30min.
Tip- A 12v fluro car light is also good to hang up under the BBM so you can see clearly. cheers....
