I have an ex taxi ED wagon with a colom shift and I need to replace the transmission
On the compliance plate the Trans Type is H
Most of the wrecks I have seen have Type W

The ford Part Number on my Trans is
93DA7000BB
Which seems standard from looking on the net

Did the taxis come out with a different transmission
Does a standard 4 speed fit sraight on
I am guessing that the colom /t bar shift is just linkages I should be able to swap over
Am I wrong here or will it just go straight on
