Hi Guys

Got badged the other night. I had a jim mock motorsport oval and xr badge on the front quarters (one of each on both side). The two jmm badges were hanging off and one xr was missing plus some paint.

The jmm badges were stuffed so they had to come off and i also ripped off the last xr badge which was only double sided taped on. The same goes for the jmm badge on that side.

Heres were it gets good. the previous owner had superglued the badges onto the other side. I now have an oval patch of glue and some chunks of plastic stuck to my quarter.

I have tried: wax & greese remover, white spirits, cutting compound and eucalyptus oil to no success

Was thinking an experienced detailer might be able to buff it off but working all week and not always finishing at the same time are making things hard.

Suggestions?

Cheers
Ben

I read somewhere that nail polish remover is good for removing super glue.

Try it on a hidden spot first??

superglue

id probably try and heat it with a hair dryer and see if it goes back to being tacky and rub it off with your finger.

other than that the only stuff that will budge superglue will probably damage ya paint.

good luck mate.
