I don't think AU MAPs are PWM like the E series, I think they output a linear voltage compared to pressure.

Havin a few problems with cold starts lately, car seems to have a reduced fuel flow in the mornings causing it to hesitate, revs die down then jump up etc... So i decided to call Repco and price coolant temp sensor and intake air temp sensor and they're trying to get me for $350 fot the IAT and $180 for the coolant sensor? After reading threads on here im supposed to be looking at $40 odd right for the IAT? Where do i get these without having to refinance my home? Rip Every Poor C**t Off, right!

my bad,yes your right on that as the vacumm decresses the voltage increases as i say they rearly give any problems I'm more use to seeing faulty e series maps plus live data on a scan tool makes life much easier

Repco Dandenong's prices seem pretty fair. I get it all trade price through work so it's pretty cheap.
Some things are a bit ridiculous though

a bottom radiator hose for my NA fairlane was $40

but i needed it to drive so theres not much you can do

$260 must be a favourite number for repco, that was the quoted price for a suzi water pump that I ended up getting for half that at superpro, even genuine was cheaper.

I also got a quote the other day from repco for a condensor (should have been asking for an evaporator). They quoted four different suppliers ranging in price from $236 to $416.
