I went to pickup my ebxr8 from the dyno shop but before i paid the guy i wanted to test drive the car first,the car went into limp home mode stuck in 3rd gear,so i turned the car off and restated still no good,tried this a few times then took it back,they rang me the next day and said its showing a fault code but they can't clear it,i told them to disconnect the battery for 1/2 hr or so,they've just rang me and it wouldn't clear and they have no idea what to do next,
any got any ideas how to clear the codes??

Sometimes after you clear a code or codes they pop back up straight awaywhich means you have to fix the problem and then clear the code.Any idea what the code was?

no but i'll find out tomorrow,car had no issues before they worked on it though

H ave a look at your wiring going to your gearbox and see that nothing has come loose esp. the big connector

my dyno guy doesn't know how to retrieve the code any idea how to get it to flash so he can count them and then i can chase up exactly wats wrong.
