Got an annoying squeak sound from the clutch. When my foot is off the pedal it makes a sqeak sound that quickens with the revs. When I put light pressure on the clutch pedal the sound disappears.

I've got a Yella Terra flywheel and Xtreme heavy duty clutch fitted. Throw out bearing was replaced as it was part of the clutch kit.

Any ideas?

I would say throw out bearing but if you recently replaced it that is odd that it would go. have you got the pedal adjusted properly if not you could have damaged your pressure plate? it should dissengage the clutch about 25 - 30 mm off the floor.

its not the throw out bearing.. mine does it too and its brand new.

the squeak comes from the pivot point of the clutch fork and the bellhousing. as yet im too lazy to pull the box out to fix it, however JAYSEN believes he has repaired his permanently by drilling a pilot hole down the centre of the balljoint and packing it with grease.

adjusting the clutch may fix it for a week or 2, but it will come back.

as i said above i havent actually done it. my mate Jaysen (another fm user) has, but the procedure would be as follows

-remove gearbox,
-remove bellhousing
-unclip clutch fork off its balljoint and remove..
-remove the balljoint (unscrews i believe)
-drill a small hole down the centre of it.. (be very careful not to break the drillbit off, hole must be small as to not weaken the component)
-fill hole with grease (Jaysen used Nulon L90 i believe)
-refit ball to bellhousing
-apply liberal amount of lubricant to clutchfork and balljoint assembly
-apply lubricant to where the throwout bearing rubs on the clutch fork,
-refit bellhousing
-refit gearbox

and hopefully enjoy squeak free driving :)

i work with jaysen so i see his car daily, and its been several months since he did the procedure above and i havent heard it squeak yet..

now just to get off my a** and pull the box out of mine :(
