Does the AU rocker cover, As pictured below fit straight onto a ED head?
I reckon it will but other people have said it wont.

I couldn't see why not as the head is essitenially the same as previous models...

Thats what I was thinking too. But the bloke at the local wreckers said they won't fit. So who better to ask than the clever folks here on FM.

i have an au rocker cover on an ebII head, the only thing i did was slightly file the head on the sharpish edges sealing surface where its half moon shaped curves are. if you look at an eb, ed head compared to an ef, el head, or the au rocker cover itself, you can see the difference.

I know that the EA EB ED rocker covers didn't fit on the EF/EL head because there was a bit of an issue with the rear of the head or something, so... I don't think it'll be a direct fit but may still fit with a bit of modification.
