Wow, cowl induction scoops seem to be popular at the moment.

Nice ride mate, maybe try one of those long edelbrock air filter for the twin carbs and modify the base plate to suit the single? you would still have allot of air filter surface area then. But would look real odd with the bonnet up.

mmm wat bout if you make like a fake air filter with no top on it, so that it seals around the outside of the hole you have. then put a pannel filter in the back of the scoop?

Yeah....Pro-Stock snorkel, plenty of clearance with that one!!!! FWIW, i would've made the throttle body a bit more out of the way, by that i mean have a pipe running to the manifold, that you can connect the throttle body to. I guess it's to late to re-position the injectors if they're in the way of keeping it all under the bonnet.

One more way would be to mill a chunk out out the top the manifold and drop the whole lot down. Can you modify the fuel rails?? Are they billet, or a std ford ones adapted??

Hope i made some sense.

Cheers

:D Daz 8-)

is there any room between your fuel rails and air cleaner base. there are some lowered/recessed base air cleaners around.
