hey guys umm just wondering if anyone knows whats wrong with my cruise control. it comes uo on the dash as on but doesnt activate the actual cruise control if u know what i mean and ideas?

firstly check the cable is still connected to the t/b, my old el futura snapped the plastic connection near the throttle body..

Then check your brake lights.
If the brake light switch is stuffed (very common) the cruise wont work. Also look at your brake fluid reservoir, if the fluids low, it could trigger the pressure switch for the Cruise control. Remeber cruise only works Above 40kph.

ive checked the cable and the fluid ther both good but how can i check the brake switch?
