hey there ahh i hav a ba fairmont aswell. i wanna run some subs also i think the 6 stackers are crap so im putting my own cd player in my car. ya can get a upgrade panel from ebay which converts the tissue box at the bottom into a 1 din pannel so you can mount ya own aftermarket deck in it

Bit of a job to fully set up, suggest you get a shop to fit it if you arnt familiar in doing it.

I have gone with a JVC dvd head unit with the insert panel from ebay.
Autobarn also stock it.

If you are interested I have a new unused Fibreglass custom moulded to left rear quarter sub box suit 12" sub for sale at $120 plus postage.
These cost $400 from Autobarn.

I bought it but because of the premium amp in my car it would not fit unless I removed the factory amp and used the stand sound trim lining.

I have opted for a right hand side mounted box so I can still keep all the premium sound in place.

I also have a pair of JBL GT Series new in Box 6.5" Componant speakers for sale as I decided to go with 2 sets of Clarion Comp series speakers.
They come with crossovers, tweeters, mid driver, wires and fitting.
Cost me $249 sell them $170 plus postage.

To run these you will need to have a spacer plate made to go from the factory 5x7 hole to the 6.5" hole.

Just PM me if you are interested.

I dont know if the New premium sound system is anything like the old EF/EL premo system, but i'm just running a new sub of the factory amp. runs magnificent and sounds great.

I have a BF mont with premo, and compared to the EF premo in my EB, its s**t.

In my BF, i'm running an additional alpine amp by the rear speaker outputs, and that amp runs a 12" sub. Works a treat, but it then shows how s**t the front speakers are, so i will be upgrading them in the future also.
