just wondering if i could swap an ecu from 6cyl auto st.wagon(4DCD) to a 6cyl auto sedan(4DBD), thanks.

Yes, but shift points would be wrong as the Wagon has a 3.23 diff, not a 3.08.

Also found out its from a GLi and i was thinking of putting it in a futura, dont know if that makes any difference but thanks for help anyway.

Nope, it'll be all good. As I said the only difference, and I doubt you will notice it, is the shift points. The ECU will shift at a 5% lower rpm than normal.

OK, so my car is a 95 Fairmont sedan with that code ecu in it. Is that because its got the different ratio diff or has someone replaced it with the wrong one at some point? I'm confused...
