I am helping a mate get hold of some springs for his EF 6cyl, and a guy on here has offered me some factory ones from his XR8.

I have pics of how it sat with in the XR8, but i am wondering how much higher the front will be in the 6?

Has anyone fitted the 8 springs before?

Any suggestions are appreciated.

they are only xr springs, so not really that stiff... he is adamant he doesnt want it to be too stiff or uncomfortable.

but i am comparing it to mine!

There will definately be a height difference... but it may not be enough to worry about.

If no one else has done it the only way to know for sure will be to try them... (or work out the difference in weight between the 6 and 8)

You could measure the wire thickness, free height, and number of turns of both, and post here. I might be able to give a rough guide, or there are formula's.
