car is pretty much stock apart from extractrs exhasut ect. a wade 1636 will be going in in early 2009, i have no clue on ecu stuff. please shed some light on this

The only query i'd have is that he states an EF ghia ecu aswell, yet doesn't have a pic or catch code for it. Maybe he means the chip is for and EF ecu, if so he should state that more clearly.
If it really is a proper chiptorque, you can get it retuned to suit your mods/future mods. Also it can't be just ment for ef's, as they are interchangable, unless its an older one, from what i've read are different. I have an XG one for my EF ecu. Its very cheap for a chiptorque chip. I'd quiz him a bit.

thats the old chiptorque i beleive. I dont know much about those types, but was told that it cant be dyno tuned and is limited..... but again, im not sure on specifics.
also the catch doe 4DCG is listed as an plain EF Fairmont 3.23 diff in this thread, so maybe ring ford and double check http://www.fordmods.com/forums/ecu-catc ... 6-140.html |

well its finishing soon...... should i take the punt, also if its a fairmont with 3.23 diff does that mean it would throw mine out being a futura with 3.08 diff?? also could i just pull the chip out and install in my ecu atm?
