just to bring the U/D pulleys to the fore again, I just put mine on, had them in the shed for a while :roll: , I noticed that acceleration appeared smoother and less sluggish.
Question I have for those that have them, did you get the alternator nut re-rattle tightened, I have locktighted mine and done the old hammer smack thing on the breaker bar to tighten it up, but should I take it down and throw the rattlegun on it, guess if I do I've wasted miy time locktighting it though, thoughts...

yes you should rattle tighten it again

yes you should rattle tighten it again


had a bit more of a think, I don't see it coming loose, direction of rotation would lead to it tightening more, but I might on the safe side
