hey guys

changed clutch cable as gears were a little difficult to find at times - discovered the following :x

how do i best go about rectifying this? i don't want to go to the effort of removing the pedal box, getting it welded etc only for it to happen again - so i'd prefer to know the best possible fix

cheers

Well I removed the pedal box and got it welded and it never happened again. Just make sure the welding job is tough and good quality. I'm sure once its out Frank would do a good job.

I've got a pic of my busted pedal box that now works flawlessly somewhere.

I'll find it and post it up.

Cost me nothing Fraser. I took the dash apart myself and removed the pedal box and got it welded at work by a very competent welder.
Reinstalled it and all is well. The hardest part was taking the dash out. But you and I have done that before so it shouldn't be too hard.
