will a single 3inch exhaust flow enough for a twin turbo v8?
i have the el twin system at the moment but the muffler is leaking beyond repair and i am turboing it after summer. I want to drive my car for summer but it sounds s**t with the leaking exhause. some options i have considered are
- cut the muffler out myself and put pipes in place. This will be a nice cheap fix but im scared iwill sound s**t and run crap having no muffler and just pipe out to the tips???? can anyone give me their opinion,

- get single 3 inch system fitted now and hopefully it will be adequate for my turbo setup?? opinions?

With 3" single / Twin 61mm Precision turbo's on 330 windsor we made 370 rwkw.. We replaced the exhaust from turbo back with twin 3" with no muffler . We made a box with 2 x3" inlet and outlets as you cannot buy this type of muffler.. With another tune we made 482 rwkw with new injectors and another 044 fuel pump..
Here is a clip of it idling.. It acually gets quieter as rpm increases..

Here is an idle clip.. These are both from cold engine..
The above clip shows some smoke.. Its due to the way i'm reving engine then closing quicky.. In these situations they will run rich..
A single 3" all thats required with std block.. Though if you can? A 3 1/2 dump pipe off turbine to cat will assist spool... 3" from cat back would be fine!!

Here is both single and twin 3" exhaust on floor ..
Yes you can run twin singles down one side!!
Some clearanceing was done to rear bumper..
