Hi All,
I have taken out the stock tape player from my brothers ea and want to install a cd player, the colours on the factory car loom are different to that of the loom that comes with the cd player. I have the new players instructions, so I know which colour wire does what but I dont have a diagram/chart for the car loom, anywhere I can get it? cheers, |

Pink/Black LHR -
Pink/Green LHR + Blue/Black RHR - Blue/Green RHR + Orange/Black LHF - Orange/Green LHF + Grey/Black RHF - Grey/Green RHF + Try that...its for an EB but may be the same..?

cool, now I know which wire does which speaker. Thanks heaps.
You wouldnt happen to know the other 4? From memory when I looked at the loom in the car today it had 12 wires. cheers again |

Black = Negative
Yellow/Black = Positive Blue/White = To cigarette lighter Brown = Park lamp/relay Pink/Black = LH/Rear - Pink/Green = LH/Rear + Blue/Black = RH/Rear - Blue/Red = RH/Rear + Orange/Black = LH/Front - Orange/Green = LH/Front + Grey/Blue = RH/Front - Grey/Green = RH/Front + Hope that helps

Most aftermarket head units don't need the Brown (park lamp) wire, that just turns on the backlight in the factory radio. |
