hi guys/ just fittrd t5 to my EF it now idles at 1300 revs, when it was auto idle speed was 750, its a stock engine with pod filter and opt 20 police ECU. any ideas please its realy pissin me off = = = thanks

Just turn the screw down on the throttle body.
Alternatively, search for "base idle", and you will find the proper procedure for adjusting the idle. |

just back the idle screw back until its gets to 800ish its on the left side of the t/body if your standing on the drivers side of the car to adjust.

also check your ISC, Mine just died in the a**, revs sat at 1300rpm. disconnected it and reset the base idle and 750rpm idle.

If it's still running the auto computer, you probably only need to add the neutral resistor, as per the conversion doco. 6.8kohm.

problem solved/ still running auto ecu as noted by snap, where do i find doco re idle resistor .at the moment ive blocked off isc with blank gasket and reconected wiring..... will this do any damage ...thanks for the help

shouldnt. it just wont raise the idle when the battry is a little low, ac is on or in gear
