was just looking at something on the net regarding turbo lag.
best way to combat it, supercharger that cuts out when turbo hits certain RPM's.
how does that sound?

If you get the right sized housing on the turbo lag will be negligable on an a 4lt. Its mainly a problem with smaller capacity short stroke engines particularly when the turbo is upgraded with exhaust housing size that will make 'huge' power but is laggy as f**k. It becomes more emphasised by these engines lack of low down torque too.

For the cost of running the set up you mentioned (which would be very cool though) I do not think it would be worthwhile.

I have found it near impossible to find any of these lenses in a good condition, most are cracked chipped or completely broken.
So I decided to make my own.

After being so eager and told by my 13 year old son that I really should leave it longer after the first time I made one and broke it, I took his advice.

As you can see it is in a very raw state, has not been trimmed, polished or had the clear section added yet.(clear for the indicator & reverse lights)(coloured globes)
I need to leave it a few more days out of the mold so it can harden now.

I will keep you all updated as the lens hardens and allows me to work on it.

you know of a spare motor?

What I would really love is a sponsor for what I really want to do.
Maybe I should approach RPM motorsports Adelaide
