bit of a shame. but doesnt make sence to import cars when your industry over there is about to fail.

i'd just like to see some decent looking cars over there, i think they have some of the most fugly s**t ive ever seen.

To be honest i don't blame them if you consider the economy over there atm, but on the other hand, they should stop making suv's & start selling car based sports ute's instead, which i'm sure would be cheaper than designing & building suv's, considering all the common bit's between the car & car based ute.

I'm sure the economy of the ute would have been miles ahead of a SUV, and for most consumers not much less practical in load ability.

The silly US auto makers dug their own grave by building supposedly cheap SUV's. They may have been cheap to build but their required fuel & other resources to run them hurt their economy badly. They should have been making more economical car's.

Cheers

As already stated, they leave here as a ute, and are turned into a "truck" by Pontiac when they get there. It's the attitude's of American's that needs to change. Although, if they had of waited a couple of months, American's could have had Pontiac G8 V8 Truck's with AFM!
