Well, I had a redback 2.5 on my sedan, and I have just purchased and installed redback 2.5 on my wagon. The centre piece from the cat to the diff is the same in both the sedan and the wagon. The tail pipes, over the diff and out the back, are unique to each vehicle.
Re the utes, I don't know. BenJ

Yes, it can be done. But there is an ADR that specifies the exhaust exit points, so you will need to comply with that.
I would be quite concerned with drone in a wagon with a dumped exhaust. My exhaust only cost $260 complete, so I don't think there is a good reason not to do it right. BenJ

Nope, Cat Back
I scored Pacemaker extractors and modded high flow cat off ebay second hand for $237. BenJ

I am only new to LPG myself. I would guestimate however, that either the coolant fittings are leaking, where the hoses go into the convertor, or the internal seals are buggered.
