Hi guys and girls, My name is mix/Michael Ford
I know, i know... my last name is FORD!!!

I have an issue that I can't seem to sort out. I own a Tickford 95 ef XR6 all is well and good but she has 310kms. Now the problem

I have found an ef that has had an AU V8 conversion with a new diff and i can purchase it for approx 1200 bux. To get it fitted with the bits will end up around the 3200 mark "i guess"...

ok so then i have a stock V8 in my xr6 and she will be a bit of a sleeper until i can find, "after readint timmeh's thread" 8k to get some more killerwasps...

so the question i put to you ladies and gentlemen is,

A) do i keep the xr6 with 310kms and spend the 3-4k on it so she "cracks"... if so what do you think i will get for the $
or
B) do i go for the 8 which probly has about 150kms less on her and will stay stock till i can find more money?

:?: :?: :?: :?: :?: :?: :?:

Well if you put the stock v8 in your xr6, id say stock for stock the xr6 would still be quicker but the V8 has alot more potential if your gonna spend the money, I would go for it.

if its an xr6 keep it an xr6
yes the xr6 will be as quick as xr8 but it will never ever sound like an 8

Yes the dev5 kit is a rip off and you still wont get the power you would from the a 6 then if you had the 8

with prices of XR8's these days i'd clean your EF XR6 up and go trade on AU XR8 if you wanted an AU V8 :)
