On a EB V8.
A little amount of water (10-30ml) leaked form the throttle body and went into the inlet manifold. Now it starting but dies strait away and there is water coming out of the Exhaust. Could the water from my throttle body be the problem or something other? |

my concern is where is the water coming from? would need to be a hell of alot of water in your airbox for the engine to suck it upand to be blowing out the exhaust.. is that only on startup when cold? if so thats just condensation in the cat and pipesclearing out, if its water out the exhaust all the time I would be looking for a water leak somewhere, some more info would be good to help diagnose.
Have you tried come carby cleaner? that should dry up any standing water, if more develops, time to start chasing leaks.

EGR has rotted out perhaps, between the throttle body and upper inlet.

Yeah, EGR the only place it can come from. Unless you have water seeping into airbox somewhere? Water out of the exhaust would be normal, from condensation.

Replaced the Throttle Body Gasket. Lost about 5ltrs of water in 3 minute's of running most coming out of the exhaust.

5L in 3 minutes is a s**t of water. Head gasket more likely.. Did you see any corrosion in the EGR plate when you did the TB gasket? What colour is your coolant?

Are you saying this happened after you replaced throttle body gasket??

To lose 5L of water it would be running like a bag of s**t... That quantity (5L in 3 mins) sounds more like a split bore to me.
