V8 yes due to maf..Bigger injectors can be fitted..
6 is alittle difficult.. Std EEC won't control bigger injectors.. The std map doesn't read boost..

Usually pull Spout or run with slight initial retarded timing. Or run MSD ignition with ignition retart as boost increases..
Lower compression and as said droppingback igntion advance with CORRECT MAF and injectors get you there.. There are specific mafs for blown engines .. Which trim timing when required.. But for initial start up I would set timing at 4* to be safe till tuned.. Depending on EEC there are TwEECers out there which change internal settings, callibrations..Heaps on Corral.net and turbomustangs.com runing std EEC's with good power numbers.. http://www.theturboforums.com/smf/index.php?board=11.0 Or http://www.theturboforums.com/smf/index ... on=search2

Try using a Capa Switch chip eliminator. A few cars are running them in conjunction with the EEC. It will need to be tuned to suit.

All the boys in the USA with there turbo mustangs are using some sort of chip and maff and injectors and away u go.
Seems to be a very reliable setup as well but not sure if our ecu will be the same as ive been told there ECU is called ECC5 and ours is ECC4 but only know that our ABS makes it different but not sure if anything else is different as wel???

EEC has some options in the forced induction area.
a number of people have seen between 200 and 250rwkw using stock ECU + fuel pump + fuel reg. however, it might be worth looking at the Tuning thread around here somewhere started by galapogos regarding tuning the EEC.

6 is alittle difficult.. Std EEC won't control bigger injectors.. The std map doesn't read boost.. Wrong! Injector Slopes have now been found in the 6 cyl bins, so we can now tune the EEC to deal with larger injectors using a simple J3 Chip. We can also pull timing out very easily, no need for dodgy SPOUT tricks or retarding the dizzy in equipped models (resulting in horrific off-boost drivability and economy). For more info see our site http://www.techcore.com.au/eec , send me a PM or email CVE Performance if you are in Melbourne and would like Paul to tune it for you. Jason

As said std EEC won't control larger injectors.. Without chip intervention.. Yes I agree its dodgy pulling spout etc..

How much would it cost to get all appropriate pieces to make it work plus tuning from a tuning workshop.
I would like to see the cost difference between that and going a full aftermarket system.

In most cases they just use a Pro-m Univ blow through maf which tricks EEC to operate the larger injectors..
Plenty of guys in U.S running std EEC's.. With lower 8.5 / 8.8 comp with larger chambers works fine.. Plenty of maf injector packages for sale on Corral.net..
