i have basically arranged a conversion of my transmittion. im just wondering how long does it generally take? hopefully anyone that has gone through this process can tell me.

not sure what model your talking i did my old ea it was easy only hard bit was the pedal boxs in the end i didnt change them just the pedals i found a bolt the same size as the id of my clutch pedal and the hole is there for you to hang it but i hear castlemain rod shop has a proper pivot for bugger all

it depends on what u got to use? ie if u have a hoist it will take u s**t less time than if u dont, and a compressor and a rattle gun would save a bit of time too...
about the hardest bit i thought was getting the starter motor out... starter motor isnt hard but it takes a bit of installing extra bends in your arm... |

bodgy p**** If u use a 3/8 wobble bar and a 3/8 mini ratchet they are piss of piece to get in and out

I've had to replace my starter twice - original failed which I replaced with "yair, she's a good one mate" second hand one - then had to replace THAT one about a week later with a new one - and believe it or not, I actually remove the whole BBM for access - much easier in the long run IMO (I'm happier undoing 120 easy things than 2 really difficult ones).
