hey guys, question how do u remove the fan off a 5 litre is has like a coil at the front?? im not to sure how to explain it. but i hope u understand what i mean?

If you are talking about the nut which holds the fan on, it is left threaded. Best removed with a spanner that fits or large shifter spanner. stop the thing from turning with ring spanner on water pump pully bolts. from memory been a while. Think you have to loosen the fan shroud as well. 3 hands are good!

They are right hand threaded actually. 5.0's have reverse rotation water pumps hence thread doesn't need reversing. The 4.0's had the left hand thread.

You have an EF Futura? Thermo fans just have two 10mm bolts and a plug,then pull it up and out.
