does anyone know what model the falcon 4ltr one piece sump gaskets come out in, i was told its the genuine au sump gasket but the one the shop showed me looked like a rocker cover gasket, its like hard plastic type sump gasket not a cork one, im after one but know one in town, knows about them, also would a high volume oil pump be ok for turbo motor.

i know what one piece gasket you on about, they are few and far between, better option but not many people use them so they are not normaly a stocked item.

as for the pump,i spose it can't hurt having a higher flow rate.

Carefull with the high volume option. This is a known cause of rooting the dizzy drive gear. The high volume pumps increase the load on the drive gear from the idler shaft, and you may destroy both the shaft and the drive gear.

Done that once. I suspect its also the cause of other people here having similar issues.

They are an EF/EL part only, and only available genuine. And its metal cased in a rubber outer, apart from the 1/2 moons which are all rubber.
