I have a ED 4L i6 and am going to do a manual t5 conversion from my wrecked EA Spac.

My question is can i use the EA flywheel with its 3 mounting wholes for the pressure plate and then use the new clutch plate which has the 6 wholes and just mark and drill and retap them to suit???

Will i need to get the fywheel balanced after?

Can i get away with this or do i have to sorce a EB 2 onwards 6 whole flywheel??

cheers Bryan

Thats what I did with my EA, got a 6 bolt clutch kit, and used it to drill and tap new holes.
It wouldn't be to far out of balance just doing that.
