Hey Guys,
Does anyone know the Thread type/size of these sensors? Slightly stranger question also; does anyone know if they are the same thread type/size as commodores? The Ford OEM sensors aren't very friendly for calibrating on the MoTeC.. Bosch and Delco have pre-defined calibration maps built in, so I'd prefer use one of them for accuracy.. I beleive atleast the VN/VP commodores use mostly Delco electrics. Cheers

Well driving to a wrecker isn't a preferred option.. Cant get to a wrecker before the weekend and if I arrive at the wreckers and can't find what I want, my preferred MoTeC dealer will be shut until Monday morning which puts the project back another week

Mine came with ABS, Cruise, LSD and 5sp. Cant complain. Just spend $10k+ and you've got 180+ RWKW. hehe Terrible waste of money.

brad, where are you putting the air temp sensor? the au v8 has one in the airintake pipe between the maf and tb, which could be put in rather easily anywhere in the air intake you like. just a thought. or vr - vs commonhores have them in the side of the airbox. i think the coolent temp is either 10 or 15mm bsp, if they stayed the same as the older engines anyway.

The EF/EL BBM has the IAT on the engine side of the plenum, at the bottom of the manifold, around cyl 3/4. Intake temp would be best taken as close to the engine as possible for an accurate measurement.. I guess the Mandrel Bent intake could always be tapped just near the TB... not what I had in mind though.
Now just gotta snort out the ECT

The ford IAT sensor is crap as it is made of brass and generally just reads manifold air temp. Better off just putting in a holden one on the inlet pipe, you will get a better reading off the holden sensor as its mostly made of plastic
