The XH dash is a fair bit lighter than the E series I found, making it relatively easy enough to get in and out.
The evaporator temp sensor is different to the E series - it runs a long tube, whereas the E series (EB and later I think)run a bulb type. Check your ECU codes just to see there are no A/C errors.

I agree, the XH dash assy is quite a bit lighter than a complete ED dash.
The A/C temp probe in my XH was the bulb-type, on the end of a wire, held into the evap core in a little plastic spade-looking thing. Not too sure how to check the ecu codes, will have to look into doing that soon. Just glad to have some cold air in the ute again.
