Just measure your dowell pin on your old cam and measure the depth of the hole in the cam, find out the length, and diameter and buy one from a bolt shop. I had to buy dowell pins for my new flywheel as the scumbags never gave me any.

If measuring the diameter is too difficult ie you have no micrometers/verniers, get your cam wheel and take it with you when you go shopping.

make sure that your new dowel is long enough as my E303 wasnt when I got it, and Im glad I checked it as it only went in to the cam gear by an 1/8", and I would prefer to not have had to fix bent valves

I'd get onto whoever sold you the cam and get the dowel it's supposed to have in it already. I wouldn't accept a cam that didn't have one in it.
