lights must adhere to the Australian Design Rules ... and remain the original colour ... otherwise they are classed as a defective item.

I read on the vicroads web s**t, that no car truck or vehicle (baring emergency vehicles) are allowed to have red lights at the front of the vehicle and white at the rear, i think it has something to do with the fact that it could be confusing for d***head and they might think your oming towards them instead of away from.

As far as any color, im pretty sure mechan1k is spot on. They look good tho, better than the crappy commo's that hardly show up.

I was defected in my previous car with blue reverse lights ... the Police Officer that gave me the defect said I was imitating a Police vehicle ... I laughed in his face.

I found out afterwards why the real reason was (see my previous post) ... but some cops have no idea whatsoever.
