New locking actuator now locks allways cycle 3 times

Post subject: New locking actuator now locks allways cycle 3 times

I put a new locking actuator in now evey time i unlock the car or open a door it cycles the locks 3 times. do i need to reset the bem so it registers the new lock properly?
