hi all

is there some special hose i need to use for my new walbro pump, the bit that goes from the pump to the cradle in the tank?

i used some fuel hose repco sold me and i pulled my pump back out a few weeks later and noticed the hose has gone like playdough :shock:

please help me :(

eww not good

i thought it would have been normal fuel hose that was used
as that is what i have used in the past

are u sure repco sold u fuel hose?

yep it is def fuel hose, took it of the roll myself.
bit strange for it to be a bad batch of hose as the roll was almost all gone so i thought they would have had other complaints by now :?

any other ideas anyone? realy dont want to replace the hose and have to remove pump again in a few weeks just to check on the hose :evil:

Make sure it was high pressure EFI Hose. It is different to just fuel hose. Not sure on the differences but i made a similar miskate once and had a hose burts in the bay, was real uncool

not sure if it was high pressure or not but it was the only type repco had, just had different sizes of the same stuff.

might just have to give dave at A1 high performance a buzz on tuesday and see what he has.

you need the Gates submersible fuel hose, its made specifically for intank use.
i think this is the part number you will need: Part no. #27093. its 5/16 and comes in one foot lengths, which should be plenty....
