my mind has a habbit of running off on me when i'm trying to explain something and i get a bit hard to understand sometimes lol yes i had to make a vacum tank for a truck the other day coincedently, got me wondering what they use vacum for ? and ultimately was it from manifold vacum or pump ?

My point is completly on experience, i had built turbo, supercharged, and hard tuned natmo engines, most of which have had a vac gauge. I have tried in experimentation fitting gauges from the brake line, and it does not work properly, not an accurate reading, as old mate even tried and stated as i already mentioned. The same applies for boost gauges and controllers etc, its not a vac line desinged to run such stuff, hence like i said, no manufacturer that has vac gauges fitted factory run them from such a line. I'm hardly interested in reading said link, as i have practical evidence of it not working. End. I think this thread has run its course.
