hi guys i just joined up ,hoping you's can help me.im building a speedway saloon out of a 94 fairmont, ive stripped the interior ready for roll cage, and started removing excess wiring as per rules,i had left everything connected that it needed to make the car run and cut all other plugs and wires away which was fine until i remove whole loom to "tidy it up"and it appears i cut the plug from the igntion barrel(the small one) and ALL the wires from there to where ever they went ie smart lockmodule etc DOH!
my question is can i bypass the whole shibang ?
it also appears ive stuffed the module in the process as its not makin noise anymore(i tryid to wire it back up)DOH again
all i need is for the car to self start, run, wires for oil psi/water temp/fans and tach signal,
surely i must be able to the ecu that all is well by only connecting/shorting some wires???????
please help me my ford brothers :D
p.s im currently racing a 2.0 mk 2escort(gettin a bit old)and my tow car is a 99au xr6 cobra in black,
cheers scott 11w nz
