Fuel Gauge stop working today. The needle on the dash gets power it goes to the first line with the orange light on. Put a full tank of fuel in her and I put the dash in diagnostic mode it it shows 0L and bottom line 00resistance from the fuel sender.

I am going to test the fuel sender with a multimeter tomorrow, what sort of resistance should I get for a full tank, can someone put there car in diagnostic mode to see what resistance I should see.

I have also jumped up and down in the boot and banged the underneath of the tank, with no change!!!!

Thanks.

I have just checked the resistance of the fuel sender= 1ohm. so i think i will pull it out and have a look.

Problem fixed, found the anti syphon tube was floating around in tank and jammed the float level too the bottom of the tank.

Removed tube and all is good.
