I thought i would let you know that if u wanna put a EF/EL shifter in your car u do not have to make up a rod or change anything. You can get one from ford which is out of a XH Ute part number is EHC7E330A they are around $8. I will take some photos and post them up.

Are you talking about the shift handle or the whole shifter? I tried the whole shifter from an EL into my ED and the gear position indicator wouldn't line up. This was with an EL dash in the car...

The shift handle mate. When i get around to it will change the whole thing and let you know how i go.

Ah, OK. Yup, I have an EL shift handle and shaft in my ED - works fine that way :)

XHI's got the EB/ED handle, XHII's got the EF/EL handle.
