Hi All
I have an auto EA ( the old 3 speed slush box ). The bottom radiator hose was an absolute b**ch to get off. In fact I had to cut it off length ways along the radiator outlet. Is there any lube I can use on the new hose to make it easier to get off down the track. Something that wont dry / harden with heat or affect the rubber. Silicone grease ? vaseline ? wheel bearing grease ? any grease ? Thanks |

They all pretty much have this problem when trying to remove them when they are cold as the rubber shrinks ive found its best if you heat them up by running the engine for a bit so the rubber becomes more flexiable and then remove.

Thanks for the tips.
Will try a bit of high temp wheel bearing grease on both ends as well as heating up before removal. |
