ef transmission keeps slipping in in drive n reverese what does that mean??
also wonderin if possible to put a ef xr or ba xr trani in?? would it fit n line up?? n would i get power gain out of it??

Have you checked the fluid level and when was it last serviced?

An XR transmission is the same as any pov pack, so there are no gains to be had.

as above check your fluid, if its low or burnt, as mine slipped while in gear a few times then lost all gears all together (but then my auto was rooted from abuse).

and yeah XR's have the same auto as the GLI.

if your talking about fitting a manual, then have a look over the past few pages, the topics been up a few times recently

level is spot on was changed at 72,000kms now at 160,000km so prob time for a change i reckon thanks 4 the advice
