years ago i had a stock zf fairlane with 351 c4, had a 350 holley. used to whip my mates hq stato with a hot 308 and 600 holley by 5-6 car lengths at the end of the 1/4 mile.

Go the holley 500. 350 a bit on the small side for a 351 even in stock form

A 6000ccm engine at 100% volumatic efficiency will require 500cfm at 5000rpm . A 350 would only be good to 3500 rpm on said engine, or about 4000rpm on 351. Peak power on xa 351 in stock form happens at about 4500rpm. Best to get a 4 barrel holley 600 vac. Better bottom end torque more top end. On a stock 351 xc the 600 was worth 5 rear wheel kw over the 500 and much better fuel economy

my zf made good power up to 5500rpm. i used both a recond 350 and recond 500 on the fairlane, 350 has the same size butterlys as a 600vac it had good power and economy for daily driving, the 500 was better for top end, flat out style driving, the 500 holley had a slower response time and used much more fuel on my motor, the butterflys are same size as a 750. if you are considering a 4 bbl conversion later and if you are carrying lots of heavy loads up hills etc, i would suggest you go for a 600 vac or if you were going to do some work in the future maybe a 750 vac.

don't use a holley on a clevo,get yourself a Edelbrock AFB 625 CFM carb,they are the dog's nuts on a cleveland.
