yeah gday

heres how i've wired it up (EF futura sedan)

kit ground to BG (black green) harness wire
kit 12 volt to RG (red green) harness wire
kit input from W (white) harness wire
kit output to W (white) harness wire

now it says that (on auto detect setting) that the speedo wont work until the LED flashes and then you can setup the corrections, but my speedo keeps working from the get-go and no tweeking of the kit makes any difference (and no LED at all)

-- should I have connected to the red wire (as there are two, red and white coming from the speed sensor) ??

help please.


heres a side note that will confuse you more (when i opened the dash to install the kit, the right hand side harness was not even plugged into the cluster, but the speedo and everything was still working fine?
Now this is the harness that has the speed sensor wires, so how was my speedo working? was it getting it from the ecu?

hmm wtf ?!! cluster was still operating fine with right side conncetor plugged in?
