Howdy guys

This morning driving to work, pulling up at a Set of lights, my Inline 6 Auto BA Falcon MkII stalled.
I put in park and it wouldn't even attempt to start, also tryed in nutreal.

Called the RAA, After waiting an Hour in the Sun :(, he just disconnected the battery and reconnected it, saying something along the lines of, it's a Common BA problem, and you just need to reboot the computer...
It did fix the problem.

Does this sound right, or could there be a Bigger underlying issue?

PS: It was 35 Degrees out at 7:45am.

Cheers.... - Goes out and buys an Open end Ringy to keep in the car for the battery...

Edit: Corrected V6 to Inline 6... Bad Habbit. My Bad

Hey mate,

Sometimes the computers may have a little hiccup, nothing major. But you might want to check your engine, because as of yet there is no such thing as a V6 Falcon. Just warning you as some ppl will kick up a stink.

Well it's Kind of Done it again...

Was driving fine. Stopped at a mates place, when i left it wouldn't start...
Put in Neutral wouldn't start...
Put back in Park, still nothing
Back in neutral, and she started...

Could this Possibly Temperature related... It has been a hot day (45.7 max, was 41 at seccond time missbehaving)

I'm thinking maybe the Transmission is Overheating, cause the Coolent is only half way on the gauge, (dead straight up and down)

Ok, I'm posting this, just incase someone else Ever has this problem

After many more Stall's, which then turned into the car absoultly refusing to start... and Many hours at the mechanics getting diagnosed and the ECU not reporting any error Codes.

We have worked out that infact, the ECU it self has Crapped it self. It has currently been removed and sent off for repair.

The ECU was 'Forgetting' how to operate the Electronic Throttle......
Apparently a Common problem in BA's, which is easily fix, but expensive... Luckily my warrenty company is covering it.

Interesting havent heard of a whole ECU replacment required before.

But i must say your dramas seem a bit more full on than i had with a simple throttle body clean did the trick for me but then again i wast stalling just idling like sh*T.

Thanks for your input good to know.
