Can anyone through some light on this for me. This is the 2nd EF falcon that i have had this problem with. Every time the rear wheels hit those small road reflector bumps i get this high pitched sqeak. I have no way of knowing for sure but i think that it may be coming from the handbrake shoes in the rear discs. Anyone know it is driving me nutts.

i had the same kind of squeel as i reversed or drove off after the handbrake was released. the rear brakes can get a build up of brake dust. remove the caliper, the screw that holds the disc on, remove disc, hose off excess dust and spray brake kleen over the pads and inside disc drum.
