Well i got a EF and the box isnt engaging any drive at all when it heats up a bit, like when the motor is cold, got full drive, reverse, etc, shifts gears. but as soon as the drivetrain warms up after 5/10 mins of runing, loose all gears, no reverse, nothing at all :S
Any ideas??? was thinking ever torque convertor or bands, maybe even oil pump? if there is one in these boxs or the TC handles that too? ALso is there any tech guides on these autos? cheers Nic

Have you Checked/Replaced the fluid latley? They don't like dirty or burnt fluid!

trans fluid it only 5000kms old, did it when the motor went in, so not much use at all, it is obviously a sign of oil heating up, thinning out, then no drive
 so hmmm

Humm ok, I had the opposite problem to you, mine would just loos drive in the morning when it was cool, when it warmed up it was fine!
I have a BTR workshop manual on PDF here somewhere I'll see IF I can find it

any more help/ideas people
?Pulling it apart at the moment, and the oil that came out of it that was only 5000km old looks terriable, looks black and burnt. ALso noticed in the sump there is alot of fillings that look to be brass in colour, goldish/brown. and is all clogs of it now that the oil has drained away  whats all that from?
