absolutely awesome!! the 3v ghia's rock!!!
is it a 6spd auto?? also the 3vs will unleash with a cai (bluepower, seriously it might be a bit of dosh, but just the induction roar makes it worth while). exhaust, headers, and a custom tune and youll be loving life please, PLEASE take a metric f**k tonne of pics when you pick it up

Very nice car, i bought the missus a BF Mont, makes me wish i waited and got a Ghia instead.

nah 4 speed auto
 that would have been the only reason i didnt buy it, but in the end i couldnt justify not buying it. thats why im planning a shift kit and diff gears to try and liven it up abit.oh you will recieve pics :p

got it today and im so happy
pics will be added tomorrow sorry because this isnt my computer. 2 minor problems i need help fixing. number one the bonnet release cable has dislodged from the handle its self. how to fix that? and number two. i went to put fuel in it and noticed the cap/valve that springs back up after you take the fuel dispenser out is dislodged from its spring and is just sitting loose in there. is this actually needed or can i just take it out? or will this need to be fixed and will cause problems. other than that im happy with the car theres a couple of very minor things that need doing eg touching up the paint on the engine cover etc but all in good time.

if their actually spot lights and not turning lamps there button is usually next to steering column opposite side form fuel and boot one.

yeah ive now figured out they're turning lamps
so theres no button thats why i was going crazy.

ive noticed the engine sounds abit ticky sometimes. is this normal for the 3v's?
also just got quoted $1100 for a set of pacemakers, good or bad price? the bloke said they take about 5 hours to fit

Nice looking mont you have there
 If you want power then you can't go past DiFillipo extractors and cats with a Big Boy cats back on it, and get quad tips on it  The engine can be a bit noisy, early models had issues with the cam phasers and timing chain tensioners as they were plastic and broke, can buy cast steel ones now. As for the turning lamps, they can be easily hooked into your head lights. Don't worry about the 4 sp auto either, they are a good box. But get a trans cooler on it, they need them. As for shift kits etc, they are not needed, all shift points can be adjusted via the flash tune. Can also consider a 3000 stall if you're into drag racing. |
