just trying to find a rough price that i should be looking at for a set of pacemaker comp series extractors for my ef xr6.

i have had 2 quotes the first one was $750 fitted
the second was $800 or $1100 with a hi-flow cat.

does this sound like an average price??

eBay is roughly $560 inc post, then shop around for quotes for fitment. The local workshop here charged me $100 to fit a set of extractors, and that included modifying the cat.

so $700 or under seems like a fair price, anything over that is just greedy on their part...

plenty of companies sell off ebay, but if you dont trust them pay with paypal your covered for up to $20,000.....
check the feedback on the companies, see if they ripped anyone off....

most companies sell off ebay because thats the way they can get there product across to everyone.

I got pacie comps, magnflow 2.5" stainless cat and a custom mandrel bent catback done for 1200 fitted about 2 years ago. Maybe the prices have gone up now.

yeah that's about what i get quoted, around 1000-1200 with labour for pacemaker, high flow cat and and unspecified 2.5" exhaust

although looking at ebay now, there's some pacemaker extractors for $350 (pick up only though, lucky for vic's)

dunno if it's sus or not *shrugs*

There not the comps but i have heard thing about ebay pacemakers, i have had a few exhaust shops say they are from dodgy batchs and things like that. But its probly because they want you to pay full price from them

if a company has sold dodgy headers on ebay be sure someones gonna say something about it in the feedback, dont forget the exhaust shop could be selling bad extractors too, rather pay 500 then 800 from a shop that mark up the price..

but is your choice in the end
